GST jurisdiction mismatch: lodge complaint with Grievance Redressal Cell to correct GSTN tagging and release refunds.
A taxpayer's state-level jurisdiction assignment conflicted with GSTN's central tagging, holding up refund claims; the issue is a system error and should be remedied by lodging a complaint with the Grievance Redressal Cell-GST online portal, obtaining a ticket number, and awaiting correction. (AI Summary)

HI,

A taxpayer has been assigned STATE jurisdiction as per Division of Tax Payers, Order. However, GSTN has tagged him to CENTRE Jurisdiction due to which refund claims have been held up. How to get this resolved?

Thanks & Regrards,

Adarsh Gupta
