Sir,

EOU unit has got approval from MEPZ or STPI for DTA sales entitlement. Should the unit still get approval from concerned Central Excise to effect DTA clearance as per NTF 23/2003.

Though there is no such express provision to take approval,it is always better to keep the department informed by way of a letter enclosing the approval copy issued by the DC. It is a general practice being followed by the industry
