of <h1>Amendments to 2009-2014 Handbook: SION E-1 & E-5 Updated for Actual User Conditions Effective July 23, 2010.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has issued amendments to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. 1) for 2009-2014, effective from July 23, 2010. These amendments pertain to the Standard Input Output Norms (SION) detailed in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. 2). Specifically, changes have been made to SION E-1 and E-5, requiring that certain import items be used under actual user conditions with accountability for their use in exports. These amendments are published in the public interest and are detailed in Annexure 'A' of the public notice.
