<h1>India Amends SION A-1667: New Input Norms for Exporting Nylon/Rayon Reinforced Tyres; Special Rules for Bus/Truck Tyres.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has issued an amendment to the Standard Input Output Norms (SION) A-1667 under the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14. This amendment, detailed in Public Notice No. 74/2009-2014, involves changes to the input-output norms for exporting automobile tyres reinforced with nylon or rayon tyre-cord warp-sheet. Specific quantities of materials such as natural rubber, synthetic rubber, carbon black, and other chemicals are outlined for import to produce 100 kg of tyres. Special conditions apply for bus/truck tyres and tubeless tyres, including restrictions on certain materials if dipped fabric is imported.
