of <h1>SEZ Meeting Sets New Guidelines: FTWZ Units Can Import, Trade Freely; Diesel Use Approved for Operations.</h1> A meeting chaired by the Additional Secretary (SEZ) addressed issues related to Free Trade Warehousing Zones (FTWZ). The guidelines established include: no approval for renting office space outside SEZ/FTWZ; SEZ/FTWZ units can import all goods except prohibited items, subject to necessary permissions; diesel is allowed for authorized operations; no restrictions on trading and warehousing activities in sector-specific SEZs; FTWZ units can conduct transactions between DTA and FTWZ; and requests for operations like cutting and polishing will be evaluated individually by the Approval Committee.
