of <h1>Extension Granted for Duty Drawback Applications on HSD for EOUs; New Deadline Set Three Months from Circular Date.</h1> The circular announces an extension for filing applications for the fixation of Brand Rate of Duty Drawback on High Speed Diesel (HSD) supplied by domestic oil companies to Export Oriented Units (EOUs) before the issuance of Notification No. 20 dated 17.8.05. Initially, no new applications were to be accepted after 5th March 2008. However, following representations from trade bodies and firms, a three-month extension is granted from the circular's issuance date. Applications must meet prescribed conditions and undergo thorough scrutiny to prevent fraudulent claims. This decision is approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
