of <h1>DGFT Enforces 10,000 MT Export Limit on Edible Oils in Branded Packs; CBEC to Ensure Compliance.</h1> The circular addresses the export of edible oils in branded consumer packs of up to 5 kg, initially permitted under a quantitative limit of 10,000 MTs until October 31, 2009. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) reported that 9,365.76 MTs had been exported by the deadline. Consequently, the DGFT instructed that no further exports should occur beyond the 10,000 MT limit. The Central Board of Excise and Customs is tasked with ensuring compliance with this restriction and notifying all relevant parties to prevent exceeding the established limit.
