of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Update: New DEPB Rates for Agricultural Tractors and Polyester Staple Fibre Announced, Effective Immediately.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has announced amendments to the Duty Entitlement Pass Book (DEPB) rates. For the Engineering Products group, a new DEPB rate of 4% is introduced for agricultural tractors in various conditions. In the Chemicals group, the DEPB rate for Polyester Staple Fibre is revised to 8% with a value cap set at Rs. 80 per kg. These changes are made under the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014 and are effective immediately, as stated in Public Notice No. 14/2009-2014.
