of <h1>DGFT Revises Export Reward Scheme: FOB Value Excludes Discounts, Includes Only Foreign Agency Commissions, Per Policy Circular 98.</h1> Policy Circular No. 98 (RE-2008)/2004-2009, issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade on August 10, 2009, modifies the previous Policy Circular No. 51 (RE-2008)/2004-2009 dated January 6, 2009. The modification clarifies that the computation of entitlement for export reward schemes under Chapter 3 should be based on the FOB value of exports, excluding discounts offered to foreign buyers. The FOB value should include only foreign agency commissions. This change corrects the earlier directive that included both commissions and discounts in the FOB value calculation.
