of <h1>FOB Export Value to Include Commissions and Discounts for Incentives in Foreign Trade Policy Chapter 3.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has clarified that for the purpose of calculating entitlements under the various incentive schemes in Chapter 3 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09, the Free on Board (FOB) value of exports should include any commissions and discounts. This clarification addresses inquiries from the trade and industry sectors regarding whether these components should be included in the FOB value used for entitlement calculations. The directive has been issued with the approval of the Director General of Foreign Trade.
