of <h1>Customs seeks experienced advocates as Special Public Prosecutors for CBIC cases, applications due 25 October 2025</h1> A customs authority invites applications from advocates with at least ten years' practice, enrolled with the Karnataka State Bar Council, for appointment as Special Public Prosecutors to represent the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs before subordinate courts, sessions courts, and the High Court of Karnataka. Initial engagement is subject to annual performance assessment and possible renewal on recommendation of competent customs and investigative authorities. Applicants must submit the prescribed proforma and bio-data by 25 October 2025, either physically or by email, and attend an interview on 29 October 2025 at the customs office in Bengaluru. Required qualifications, terms, conditions, and fee structure are governed by specified CBIC Legal Cell instructions appended as annexures.
