of <h1>DGFT allows personal carriage of gems and jewellery export and import parcels via Ahmedabad Airport under paras 4.87(a), 4.88</h1> Public Notice No. 33/2025-2026 issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade under the Foreign Trade Policy 2023 amends paragraphs 4.87(a) and 4.88 of the Handbook of Procedures 2023. The amendments permit personal carriage of gems and jewellery export parcels by foreign-bound passengers and import parcels by Indian importers or foreign nationals through Ahmedabad Airport, in addition to previously specified airports. Customs procedures and requirements for examination, release, and realization of export proceeds through normal banking channels remain unchanged.
