of <h1>Electronic processing of Bills of Entry and Shipping Bills starts March 1, 2023 at designated ICD INWDH6, SBI authorized</h1> Computerized processing of Bills of Entry and Shipping Bills under the Indian Customs EDI system (ICES 1.5) will commence from 01.03.2023 at the designated Inland Container Depot in Morbi (Location Code INWDH6). The depot has been notified and its customs limits defined; a private operator has been appointed custodian for containerized imports and exports. State Bank of India, Morbi branch is authorized for duty collections and drawback payments under EDI. Pre-production EDI trials were completed and reported. Importers, exporters, customs brokers and trade associations should direct operational issues to the local Deputy/Assistant Commissioner and use the prescribed ICEGATE/saksham helpdesk channels.
