of <h1>DGFT Updates List of Banks Authorized to Import Gold and Silver for FY 2025-26</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has updated the list of banks authorized to import gold and silver for FY 2025-26 (April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026). Thirteen banks including Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, and State Bank of India are authorized to import both gold and silver, while Indian Overseas Bank and Union Bank of India are permitted to import only gold. This amendment to Appendix 4B of the Handbook of Procedures, 2023 was made under powers conferred by paragraphs 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy.
