of <h1>SEBI Releases New Guidelines for Capacity Planning and Performance Monitoring of Market Infrastructure Institutions.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued revised guidelines for capacity planning and real-time performance monitoring of Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs), including stock exchanges, clearing corporations, and depositories. These guidelines mandate MIIs to implement a proactive capacity planning methodology to estimate future requirements and ensure system capacity is at least 1.5 times the projected peak load. MIIs must conduct quarterly stress testing, maintain an asset register, and implement automated performance monitoring systems. The guidelines also require MIIs to submit revised frameworks to SEBI within three months and integrate these requirements into service level agreements with third-party vendors.
