This update supersedes previous directives and aligns with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change's guidelines. The list includes equipment such as MRI, CT, PET-CT, and various surgical and diagnostic systems. Import conditions require compliance with hazardous waste management rules, certification of equipment life, and import authorization. The equipment must have a minimum seven-year residual life, a one-year warranty, and a three-year comprehensive maintenance contract. Importers must ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and obtain necessary clearances.
