of <h1>SEBI Releases Updated Master Circular for Stock Brokers, Superseding May 2023 Version, u/s 11(1) of SEBI Act 1992.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued an updated Master Circular for Stock Brokers, consolidating all relevant guidelines and directions issued up to March 31, 2024. This new circular supersedes the previous Master Circular dated May 17, 2023, rescinding specific instructions listed in the appendix. Despite the rescission, actions taken under the previous circulars remain valid and unaffected. The circular is issued under the authority of Section 11(1) of the SEBI Act, 1992, and is accessible on the SEBI website.
