of <h1>DGGI Official Appointed to Adjudicate Rs. 362 Crore Central Excise Show Cause Notices for Packaging Company Units in Ahmedabad.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has appointed the Principal Additional Director General/Additional Director General (Adjudication) of the DGGI, New Delhi, as the Central Excise officer to adjudicate Show Cause Notices issued to various units of a packaging company. The notices, issued between July and September 2018, involve substantial amounts totaling over Rs. 362 crore. The units in question are located in Ahmedabad North, and the adjudication will address the issues raised in these notices.
