of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy 2023 Update: Export Promotion Council for Medical Devices Now Authorized to Issue RCMC for Medical Products.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended Appendix 2T of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023 to include the Export Promotion Council for Medical Devices as a recognized body for issuing Registration-Cum-Membership Certificates (RCMC) for a comprehensive list of medical devices and related products. This amendment, effective immediately, allows the council to manage RCMC issuance for items such as surgical instruments, diagnostic apparatus, and protective medical garments. Certificates previously issued by the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) will remain valid until their expiration.
