of <h1>DGFT Announces New Procedure for Importing Isopropyl Alcohol with Country-Specific Quotas for 2023-24 under ITC(HS) 29051220.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has outlined the procedure for obtaining a Registration Certificate (RC) for importing Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) under ITC(HS) Code 29051220, subject to country-specific quantitative restrictions for the financial year 2023-24. A total of 1,32,440 MTs of IPA is allocated for import, distributed among various countries. Indian importers must apply online by April 20, 2023, and provide details of previous imports. The RC is valid until the end of the financial year, with quarterly reviews and adjustments. The DGFT retains the right to modify the process as necessary.
