of <h1>SEBI Launches Investor Risk Reduction Access Platform to Safeguard Against Trading Disruptions by October 2023 Deadline.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has introduced the Investor Risk Reduction Access (IRRA) platform to mitigate risks arising from disruptions in trading services by Trading Members (TMs). This platform allows investors to close open positions or cancel pending orders during such disruptions. Stock exchanges will develop and manage the IRRA service, which will be activated upon TM's request or by exchanges proactively. Investors will be informed via email/SMS, and access will be secured through OTP verification. The IRRA platform ensures investor safety by prohibiting risk-increasing actions and includes guidelines for reverse migration to TM systems once operational. Compliance is required by October 1, 2023.
