of <h1>DGFT Bans Wheat Exports, Introduces Online Module for ICLC Registration; Applications Processed in 24 Hours per Trade Notice 06/2022-2023.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has implemented Notification No.06/2015-2020, dated 13th May 2022, prohibiting the export of wheat. This change amends the export policy from 'Free' to 'Prohibited'. To facilitate the registration of Irrevocable Commercial Letters of Credit (ICLC) opened on or before 13th May 2022, DGFT has introduced an online submission module for applications. Exporters must apply for a Registration Certificate through the DGFT website. Regional Authorities have been instructed to process complete applications within 24 hours, as per Trade Notice No.06/2022-2023.
