of <h1>SEBI Extends Virtual Meeting Option for InvITs and REITs Until December 31, 2020, Due to Pandemic Concerns.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has extended the facility for Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs) and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) to conduct extraordinary meetings of unit holders through video conferencing or other audio-visual means (VC/OAVM) until December 31, 2020. This extension responds to requests due to the ongoing pandemic and requires compliance with procedures outlined in a previous SEBI circular dated June 22, 2020. The circular is issued under the authority of the SEBI Act, 1992, and relevant regulations for InvITs and REITs.
