of <h1>Circular No. 1071/4/2019-CX.8 Amended: New Deadlines Set for SVLDRS Rules, 2019 Following Finance Act Changes.</h1> The circular amends Circular No. 1071/4/2019-CX.8 dated 27th August 2019, following changes in Section 127 of the Finance (No.2) Act, 2019 by the Taxation and Other Laws Ordinance, 2020. The SVLDRS Rules, 2019 were also amended. Key amendments include changing deadlines in the original circular: in paragraph 7, the deadline is now 30th June 2020; in paragraph 10(j), the deadline is also 30th June 2020; and in paragraph 11(iii), the Designated Committee must decide by 31st May 2020. Any implementation issues should be reported to the Board.
