Each location sends two files: a data file and a control file. DGFT acknowledges these files with predefined codes indicating acceptance or rejection. Rejected shipping bills are retransmitted unless marked as duplicates. An enquiry module at ICES locations allows exporters to check the status of their shipping bills. Exporters can request retransmission regardless of acknowledgment status. Issues can be addressed through designated contacts at ICES locations.
