of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Update: No More Physical Copies of MEIS/SEIS Scrips for EDI Ports from April 10, 2019.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures under the Foreign Trade Policy (2015-2020) to eliminate the need for physical copies of MEIS/SEIS scrips issued with EDI ports. Effective from April 10, 2019, the Telegraphic Release Advice (TRA) facility will no longer be available for scrips issued from EDI ports to non-EDI and SEZ ports, except for those with registration at non-EDI or SEZ ports. This change aims to streamline the process and reduce reliance on physical documentation.
