of <h1>Kandla Customs Implements Mandatory Paperless Import Processing via e-SANCHIT System Starting April 1, 2018.</h1> Public Notice No. 14/2018 announces the mandatory implementation of paperless processing for imports at Custom House Kandla using the e-SANCHIT system from April 1, 2018. Importers, exporters, and customs brokers must upload digitally signed supporting documents for bills of entry, as physical documents will no longer be accepted. The system requires an IRN number to file a bill of entry, ensuring all documents are uploaded. While some documents may still need to be presented in hardcopy upon request, the primary process will be digital. Trade associations are urged to inform their members about this change.
