of <h1>Export Promotion Cell in Bangalore to Handle Customs Work, Replacing Central Excise and GST Officers from Jan 15, 2018.</h1> The newly formed Export Promotion Cell in the Bangalore City Customs Commissionerate will assume responsibility for customs work previously managed by Central Excise and GST Officers within its jurisdiction, effective January 15, 2018. This jurisdiction covers all of Karnataka, excluding specified districts. The Export Promotion Cell will operate from the BMTC Building in Bangalore and is tasked with handling related files from Central Tax Commissionerates. Importers, exporters, trade, and customs brokers are advised to utilize the services of this new cell for customs-related work and report any difficulties to the Commissioner.
