of <h1>VKGUY Benefits Limited to Handmade Exports: Coir Board to Certify Product Authenticity as Needed, Effective April 1, 2008.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I RE 2008, under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. Effective from April 1, 2008, amendments to Table 9 (Sl. No. 26) of Appendix 37A specify that VKGUY benefits for exports will only apply to handmade products. The Coir Board is responsible for certifying the handmade nature of the products if there is any doubt. These changes are issued in the public interest and are applicable to exports made from April 1, 2008.
