of <h1>SEBI Expands Investor Service Centers to 9 New Cities by 2014 to Boost Access and Cut Costs.</h1> SEBI has mandated the expansion of investor service centers offering arbitration and appellate arbitration facilities to enhance investor access and reduce costs. Currently available in eight cities, these services will extend to Bangalore, Pune, Jaipur, Gaziabad, Lucknow, Gurgaon, Patna, and Vadodara. Centers in the first four cities must be operational by December 31, 2013, and the remaining by June 30, 2014. Stock exchanges are required to amend relevant regulations, inform members, and report progress to SEBI. Compliance will be verified during SEBI inspections. This initiative aims to protect investor interests and foster securities market development.
