of <h1>India Allocates 8,424 Metric Tons of Raw Sugar for US Export Under 2018 TRQ, Subject to 20% Duty.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has allocated 8,424 metric tons of raw sugar for export to the USA under the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for the US fiscal year 2018. This export is classified as 'Free' but is subject to a 20% export duty as per the Department of Revenue's regulations. A Certificate of Origin may be required, issued by the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade in Mumbai. Exporters must comply with reporting requirements as outlined in previous notifications. The allocation is valid until September 30, 2018.
