of <h1>India Extends Export Benefits for Fresh Onions by 3 Months, Offering 5% Incentive Until September 2017.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has extended the Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS) benefits for exports of 'Onions Fresh or Chilled' under ITC (HS) code 07031010. Initially provided under previous public notices, this benefit, set at 5% FOB, is now extended for an additional three months, allowing exporters to avail themselves of the incentive until September 30, 2017. This extension is executed under the authority of the Director General of Foreign Trade, as per the Foreign Trade Policy (2015-2020).
