of <h1>India Allocates 8,424 Metric Tons of Raw Sugar for US Export; Subject to 20% Duty Under Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has allocated 8,424 metric tons of raw sugar for export to the USA under the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for the US fiscal year 2017. This allocation is made under the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020. The export is classified as 'Free' but subject to conditions including a 20% export duty as per a prior notification. A Certificate of Origin may be required and will be issued by the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade in Mumbai. Reporting requirements as per previous notifications must be adhered to.
