of <h1>Advance Authorization Requires Adherence to Consumption Ratio and Nexus; Customs Certification Needed for Export Documents.</h1> Trade Notice No. 10/AM16 issued by the Office of the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade informs that for Advance Authorization, both consumption ratio and nexus must be adhered to. Export documents must declare the net content of inputs in the exported product, certified by Customs or Excise. Specifications like type, strength, and concentration must match import and export documents. Certifications from Chartered Engineers or Accountants are not acceptable. Inputs are based on 100% strength unless specified. Supplier test reports are not accepted, though ISO unit self-tested lab reports are allowed for exports under specific conditions.
