of <h1>Mumbai Airport Warehouse Redesignated as Customs Area for Unclaimed Cargo; Specific Sections Identified for Operations.</h1> Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (MIAPL) sought to denotify part of its 'Import' Warehouse at Marol Pipeline Road, Mumbai, for local operations. The original notification declaring the warehouse as a 'Customs Area' was untraceable. Consequently, the Commissioner of Customs decided to specify a precise area as a Customs Area instead of denotifying any part. The specified areas include 1595 sq. meters on the ground floor and 3151 sq. meters on the first floor of the warehouse. This designation is for the receipt, storage, and disposal of uncleared, unclaimed, or abandoned international cargo from the Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Mumbai.
