Dock, Kolkata, as a 'Customs Area' for loading cement onto barges for export to Bangladesh via riverine routes. This designation, under Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962, requires strict adherence to the Customs Act and Public Notice No. 50/03 dated June 30, 2003. The specified area covers 320.951 square meters and is bordered by the River Hooghly to the north, KOPT's Workshop to the south, KOPT's North Workshop to the east, and KOPT's pucca slipway to the west.
