of <h1>India Corrects Trade Policy: Panama Removed from Country Group-C, Stays in Group-B per MEIS Appendix 3B.</h1> The Government of India, through the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, has issued a public notice dated 28th December 2015, removing 'Panama' from Country Group-C of Table 1 in Appendix 3B of the MEIS Schedule, effective from 1st April 2015. This action corrects the previous listing anomaly where Panama appeared in both Group-B and Group-C. Consequently, Panama remains listed only in Country Group-B, thereby aligning the trade policy documentation with the intended categorization under the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020.
