of <h1>India Allocates Sugar Export Quotas for 2015-2016: 10,000 Tons to EU, 8,424 Tons to US Under Special Quotas.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has allocated sugar export quotas for the period from October 2015 to September 2016. The allocation includes 10,000 tons of white sugar for the European Union under the CXL quota and 8,424 metric tons of raw sugar for the United States under the Tariff Rate Quota. Exports to the EU require a certificate of origin as per EU regulations, issued by the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade, Mumbai. The export of sugar to both regions is classified as 'Free' but subject to specific conditions outlined in prior notifications.
