<h1>New Checklist for Import Export Code Applications Ensures Transparency and Uniformity per Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14.</h1> A check-list for submitting applications for an Import Export Code Number (IEC Number) has been established to ensure transparency and uniformity in processing. It aligns with the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14 and the Handbook of Procedures. The check-list includes two sections: required documents and additional documents for specific cases. Required documents include a covering letter, Aayat Niryaat Form 2A, demand draft, bank certificate, PAN card, photographs, and envelopes. Additional documents may include RBI approval letters and board resolutions. Exporters are encouraged to use the Counter Assistance service for application checks. Queries should be directed to the office, not through agents.
