of <h1>DGFT Amends Start Date for Self-Certification of Bar-Coding on Pharma Exports to May 15, 2014, from April 1.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended the effective date for implementing self-certification of bar-coding requirements on secondary and tertiary packaging for pharmaceutical and drug exports. Initially set for April 1, 2014, the new date is May 15, 2014. Consignments cleared under the previous notice by April 1, 2014, remain valid. This amendment modifies Public Notice No. 56(RE-2013)/2009-14, ensuring compliance with bar-coding standards on export packaging.
