<h1>New Guidelines for Recognizing Agencies Issuing Certificates of Origin (Non-Preferential) as per Appendix 4C Now in Effect.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has issued guidelines for recognizing agencies authorized to issue Certificates of Origin (Non-Preferential) as per Appendix 4C of the Handbook of Procedure, Volume I. Eligible applicants must be registered as a non-profit company, society, or trust, with a minimum office space of 1000 sq. ft. and at least five employees, two of whom must be technically qualified. They should also conduct at least three export promotion events annually. Regional Authorities will inspect agencies to ensure compliance. Existing agencies must meet these criteria by March 31, 2008, or face delisting.
