of <h1>NSE Stock Brokers Must Register with Local Excise Commissionerate for VSAT Installation, Regardless of Office Location.</h1> Stock brokers of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) must register with the Central Excise Commissionerate that has jurisdiction over the location where their trading membership is granted and where infrastructural facilities are provided for installing Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSAT) to operate their business. This requirement applies regardless of whether the broker's offices are situated within or outside the jurisdiction of the said Commissionerate. This directive clarifies the registration process for NSE members who can operate from any part of India through the NSE's satellite network, unlike local stock exchange members who must operate within their registered jurisdiction.
