of <h1>Mumbai Zone-I Forms Single Regional Advisory Committee for Industry, Trade; Quarterly Meetings to Address Challenges.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has directed the formation of a single Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) for the Organized Sector and Small Scale Industry and Trade in Mumbai Zone-I for 2012 and 2013. The committee, chaired by the Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, includes members from various trade associations. The RAC will meet quarterly to address legal and procedural challenges faced by the trade and industry. Members must submit discussion points 15 days prior to meetings. Absenteeism in three consecutive meetings without valid reasons will lead to replacement. Correspondence should be directed to the Additional Commissioner.
