of <h1>Deadline Extended for DIN Holders to Update PAN Details to February 29, 2012 Under Companies Act, 1956.</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has extended the deadline for Directors Identification Number (DIN) holders to file form DIN-4 and update their Permanent Account Number (PAN) details under the Companies Act, 1956. The new deadline is set for February 29, 2012. This extension follows previous circulars issued in May and October 2011. All regional directors, registrars, and relevant professional bodies are requested to publicize this extension. The DIN Cell is tasked with notifying existing DIN holders who have not yet submitted their PAN information to comply by the new deadline to avoid penalties.
