THROUGH ASSISTANT DIRECTOR Versus PARVEZ AHMED - TMI The Supreme Court heard learned counsel for the parties and reviewed the impugned order passed by the High Court. The Court stated that it did not find 'any ground to interfere' with the impugned order. It qualified, however, that the High Court's observations, being 'prima facie in nature,' 'will have no bearing.' On that basis the Court dismissed the Special Leave Petitions. All pending application(s), if any, were ordered to stand disposed of. The decision is focused on the absence of a jurisdictional or substantive basis to disturb the High Court order, while expressly limiting the effect of the High Court's preliminary observations.
