                            2. ISSUE-WISE DETAILED ANALYSIS

                            Issues (i) and (ii): Admissibility and Reliance on Statements under Section 9D and Cross-Examination

                            Legal Framework and Precedents: Section 14 of the Central Excise Act empowers officers to record statements during inquiries, which are deemed judicial proceedings under IPC Sections 193 and 228.
