Condonation of delay of 15 days in filing of the appeal - Jurisdiction - power of Tribunal to condone the delay - Section 61(2) of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 - HELD THAT:- After having perused the application for condonation of delay and the explanation offered for the delay, it is held that the Tribunal ought to have condoned the delay. The delay is condoned - impugned order set aside - appeal allowed. The Supreme Court allowed the appeal, condoning the delay in filing and directing the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal to proceed with the hearing of the Company Appeal. The delay could have been condoned by the Tribunal as it was within the permissible period under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
