Inaction on the part of the respondents in not releasing the IGST and amount of duty drawbacks due to them - other prayers not pressed at this stage - HELD THAT:- The concerned respondent authorities is directed to decide the question of release or otherwise of IGST along with interest as well as the release or otherwise of duty drawback due to the petitioner in accordance with law, rules, regulations and Government policies applicable to the facts of the case, as early as possible and preferably within a period of three weeks from today. Petition disposed off. Writ petition seeking mandamus to direct Respondents to release IGST of Rs. 78,29,825/- and duty drawback of Rs. 35,86,614/-, and to remove alerts against IEC No. AAMCM0507D and GNSTIN No. 07AAMCM0507DIZU; other prayers not pressed at this stage. Petitioner alleges inaction by Respondents in not releasing the amounts due. Court directed that 'the concerned respondent authorities [shall] decide the question of release or otherwise of IGST along with interest as well as the release or otherwise of duty drawback due to the petitioner in accordance with law, rules, regulations and Government policies applicable to the facts of the case,' preferably within three weeks. Petitioner retains liberty to challenge the order passed by the Respondents thereafter along with other grievances raised in the writ petition. Writ petition disposed of with the above directions.
