Difficulty-removal power under foreign contribution law allows the Central Government to issue Gazette orders within a limited period. Section 53 is amended to insert a difficulty-removal power enabling the Central Government, by Gazette order, to make provisions necessary or expedient for removing implementation difficulties, subject to consistency with the Act. The power cannot be exercised after two years from commencement of the Act.
