of <h1>Amendment to Section 269K: Prompt Payment of Amounts Under Section 269J Proviso After Property Vests in Central Government.</h1> Section 269K of the principal Act has been amended to modify the proviso in sub-section (1). The amendment specifies that in cases under the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 269J, the amounts described in clauses (i) and (ii) should be provided to the entitled parties promptly after the property is vested in the Central Government as per section 269I. The amount in clause (iii) should be paid on the agreed date, or in instalments if applicable, on the specified dates.
